The PCAMRD is now accepting nominations for the CY 2011 DR. ELVIRA O. TAN MEMORIAL AWARDS for Outstanding Fisheries Publications.

Any Filipino fisheries scientist and researcher, who has had a paper published either in a recognized foreign or local journal within the last five years prior to the date of the award are eligible to join. The paper should also not have been awarded previously.

How to join?

Nominees are required to submit five (5) reprints of each paper together with a nomination/endorsement letter from any individual organization or institution. These should be sent to:

Deadline for submission is on May 31, 2011. Awardees will be given cash prizes and plaques of recognition during the celebration of the National Science and Technology Week in July 2011.
